Production Standards

Cannabis Manufacturing at

Pharmaceutical Quality

WeGROW is committed to providing high-quality medical cannabis products that meet the highest pharmaceutical standards. To achieve this production level, we have implemented the most advanced protocols in our manufacturing process to meet industry best practices, focusing on:

Environmental Management System (EMS)

WeGROW has implemented an Environmental Management System (EMS) to effectively manage and monitor the temperature and humidity levels within the facilities to ensure quality cannabis production. The EMS is designed to continuously monitor these critical parameters to ensure that they remain within specified limits.

The EMS is equipped with sensors and automated monitoring systems that allow for real-time tracking of the temperature and humidity levels in the cultivation facility. These systems are integrated with a notification system that immediately alerts the relevant personnel if any readings fall out of the specified range. This enables timely corrective actions to be taken to bring the temperature and humidity levels back into compliance.

In addition to the real-time monitoring and notification system, WeGROW’s EMS also includes a comprehensive data logging and reporting system. This system allows for accurate and reliable data collection and analysis, which is used to identify trends and patterns in temperature and humidity levels over time. This data help to make informed decisions about process improvements and optimization to further enhance the quality and consistency of their products.

monitor and notify if any temperature or humidity in the facility goes out-of-specification

The implementation of an EMS demonstrates WeGROW’s commitment to maintaining high standards for environmental management and quality control. The system’s real-time monitoring and notification capabilities, combined with robust data logging and reporting, ensures that any deviations from specifications are promptly detected and addressed, helping to ensure the consistent production of high-quality products.

Controlled Processing Environment (CPE)

WeGROW is committed to providing safe and high-quality products to our customers. To achieve quality cannabis production, we make use of advanced methodologies that ensure hygienic design, logical process flow, and an HVAC system to maintain a controlled processing environment throughout our facility.

Our hygienic design approach involves the use of materials and equipment that are easy to clean and disinfect, as well as the implementation of proper drainage systems to prevent the accumulation of standing water. For example, our processing rooms are constructed with stainless steel walls, floors, and ceilings, which are smooth, non-porous, and resistant to bacteria growth. Additionally, we have installed hand-washing stations and foot baths at strategic locations throughout the facility to ensure that employees maintain high levels of personal hygiene.

In terms of process flow, we have implemented a systematic approach to ensure that our products are handled in the most efficient and safe manner possible. Our production lines are designed to minimize the risk of contamination by segregating raw materials, finished products, and waste streams. We have also implemented a comprehensive quality control program that includes regular testing of our products at various stages of production.

To maintain a controlled processing environment, we have installed an HVAC system that is designed to minimize the risk of airborne contaminants. Our system is equipped with HEPA filters that capture particles as small as 0.3 microns, ensuring that our products are processed in a clean and safe environment. We have also implemented a temperature and humidity control system that maintains optimal conditions for product growth and storage.

Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API)

At WeGROW, we use Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) in our medical cannabis production process to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and efficacy.

APIs are the active components in drugs that produce their therapeutic effects. In the case of medical cannabis, APIs are the cannabinoids, such as THC and CBD, that are responsible for the plant’s therapeutic effects.

To ensure that our products contain consistent and precise levels of APIs, we use advanced extraction and formulation techniques. Our extraction process uses supercritical CO2 to extract the cannabinoids from the plant material, which allows for precise control over the extraction process and ensures that we are able to extract the full spectrum of cannabinoids and other beneficial compounds.

Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Lab testing of Medical Cannabis

Once we have extracted the cannabinoids, we use advanced formulation techniques to precisely control the cannabinoid ratios and dosages in our products. For example, we may combine THC and CBD in specific ratios to create products with different therapeutic effects, such as pain relief, relaxation, or stimulation. We also use microencapsulation technology to ensure that our products have consistent and precise dosages.

In addition to ensuring consistency and precision, our use of APIs also allows us to conduct rigorous testing and analysis of our products to ensure that they meet our strict quality standards. We test for potency, purity, and contaminants, such as pesticides and heavy metals, to ensure that our products are safe and effective for medical use.

Certificates of Analysis (COAs)

COAs are documents that provide detailed information about the composition, purity, and quality of a product. In the case of medical cannabis, COAs provide information about the levels of cannabinoids, terpenes, and other compounds present in the product, as well as information about potential contaminants, such as pesticides, heavy metals, and residual solvents.

To ensure that our products meet our strict quality cannabis production standards, we conduct rigorous testing at every stage of the production process, from raw material selection to final product release. We test for potency, purity, and contaminants, using state-of-the-art analytical equipment and techniques.

Once testing is complete, we generate a COA for each batch of product, which provides detailed information about the product’s composition, potency, and purity. The COA also includes information about the testing methods used, as well as the names and qualifications of the analysts who performed the tests.

Before releasing any product for off-take, we thoroughly review the COA to ensure that the product meets our strict quality standards. If the COA indicates that the product does not meet our standards, we will not release the product for sale.

By using COAs in our medical cannabis validation process, we are able to ensure that our products are safe, effective, and of the highest quality. COAs provide us with objective, third-party verification of our product’s composition and purity, which gives our customers peace of mind and confidence in the safety and efficacy of our medical cannabis products.

Quality Certifications

WeGROW’s commitment to quality extends beyond the manufacturing process or the supply chain. We carefully select and audit our suppliers and partners to ensure that we meet international pharmaceutical GMP , EU-GMP and GACP high standards for quality and sustainability.
